We're gradually reopening branches.

On behalf of the entire Bellco team, we’d like to thank you for your loyalty and patience over the past several weeks as we have served you through our drive-up locations. We look forward to welcoming you back as we begin reopening our lobbies while adhering to guidelines provided by government agencies, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and local municipalities. For up-to-date information on individual branch hours or to schedule an appointment, see our Branch Hours below.

Our first priority is the health and safety of our members, employees, and community. We will be limiting the number of occupants in our lobbies at one time so we encourage you to schedule an appointment to help reduce possible wait times. As a reminder, if you are not feeling well, please stay home and take advantage of our online tools below.

For the most current information from Bellco, see our resources below and return to this page often.

CARES Act: The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act is a more than $2 trillion stimulus bill aimed at providing financial help for those negatively impacted by the coronavirus outbreak. For additional information about the stimulus payments (i.e., economic impact payments) and direct deposit, please visit the IRS Economic Impact Payments website.

Loan Relief: For members experiencing a hardship with making your loan payment due to COVID-19, please follow the below instructions to request a loan deferment (or forbearance). Please note, this is not payment forgiveness.

  • For consumer loans – including an auto loan or a signature loan NOT secured by real estate property, complete our online form for a deferment request. For consumer lines of credit, submit your request to memberservice@bellco.org (do not include your Social Security or account number in your email).
  • For auto lease payments looking for a deferment, complete our online form. If your auto lease is nearing its end date and you want to extend your lease, please call CULA at 1-800-878-5400 to request an extension.
  • For mortgages and ChoiceLines - If you are experiencing a financial hardship due to COVID-19, you can request a forbearance, which is an agreement between a lender and a borrower to temporarily suspend loan payments—this is NOT loan forgiveness. The loan will continue to accrue interest during the forbearance period and suspended payments are expected to be paid at the completion of the forbearance period in order to reinstate your loan.

For example, if the forbearance period is 6 months, all suspended payments would be due on the 7th month. If your mortgage payment was $2,000 per month, you’d be required to pay $14,000. If you are unable to make this one-time payment to reinstate your loan, we may have other repayment options that can be discussed with you at the end of the forbearance period. To request a forbearance, please complete our online form. After carefully reading page one, continue to page two to request a forbearance.
