Membership eligibility is required and you must also qualify for a Bellco checking account. Qualifying accounts must be opened on or before May 15, 2014. All bonus payment(s) will be deposited in new checking account within 120 days of account opening. To receive bonus payment(s), checking account must be open and have positive balance at time bonus is deposited by Bellco. Bonus payments are considered interest and may be reported on IRS form 1099-INT.
- To qualify for the first $25 bonus, $250 must be deposited at the time your checking account is opened. You must have a Bellco Visa® debit card linked to your checking account, and you must sign up for Online Banking at Bellco.org.
- To receive the $75 bonus, you must successfully complete two direct deposit transactions into the same new checking account. A qualifying direct deposit is defined as a recurring direct deposit of a paycheck, pension, Social Security or other monthly income—electronically deposited by an employer or an outside agency—into your new Bellco checking account.
- To qualify for the second $25, 10 debit card transactions must be completed during the first full statement cycle of your new checking account. Please note, ATM transactions do not count as debit card transactions.
- To qualify for the final $25 bonus, you must open either a Member Money Market Account ($1,000 minimum deposit) or a Premier Money Market Account ($10,000 minimum deposit) and fund that account within the first 30 days of opening your new checking account.
The Annual Percentage Yield (APY) for our Platinum Checking Account is effective as of 3/10/2014 with a range of 0.03%–0.15% APY based on daily balance. The Annual Percentage Yield (APY) for our Premier Money Market Account is effective as of 3/10/2014 with a range of 0.10%–0.25% APY based on daily balance. The Annual Percentage Yield (APY) for our member Money Market Account is effective as of 3/10/2014 with a range of 0.01%–0.10% APY based on daily balance.
