ST. PATRICK’S DAY PARADE
Saturday, March 14
Now that spring is in the air, it’s time to celebrate with us at the 58th annual Denver St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Bellco is proud to be the presenting sponsor of this local tradition. The parade will get underway on Saturday, March 14 at 9:30 am, kicking off at 19th and Wynkoop and ending at 27th and Blake. This year, the Bellco float will be focused on Saving for What’s Possible, encouraging people to start saving today for what's possible tomorrow, no matter where they are along their financial journey.
Tips Before You Go:
• Arrive early to stake out your favorite spot.
• To catch the parade entries’ full performance (dancing, full music sets, etc.) the best spot is south of 20th Avenue on Blake Street, which is also the most crowded with attendees arriving as early as 6 am to stake out a spot.
• If you prefer to avoid bigger crowds, a great place for prime viewing is at the end of the parade on Blake Street from 23rd to 27th Avenues.
• Due to unpredictable March weather, it is recommended to dress in layers and bring plenty of water.

Planning for retirement can be a challenging adventure. Managing your personal risk tolerance and making sure your investments are spread out with the appropriate asset allocation mix to work toward your goals, will have a lasting impact on the type of retirement you enjoy. Because these decisions are so critical, you may want to consider working with a professional who can assist you in determining the portfolio mix that best suits your needs and goals.
The CFS* Financial Advisors serving Bellco, available through CUSO Financial Services L.P., are committed to helping you take control of your retirement. They are trained to identify key areas of consideration to help you formulate a plan that is designed specifically for you.
Barring any unforeseen health complications, it will not be uncommon to live 20–30 years past your retirement date. Because inflation will most likely decrease the purchasing power of your money, your dollars may buy less during your retirement than they do today. The first step in developing a savings strategy that best meets your retirement needs is determining your objectives. For instance, how do you envision your “golden years?”
If you would like to learn more about retirement planning, or would like to review your current plan, we invite you to schedule a time to speak with one of the CFS* Financial Advisors. Call 303-728-3443, email firstname.lastname@example.org, or stop by any Bellco branch to schedule an appointment.

As a not-for-profit, Colorado-based financial cooperative, Bellco is passionate about providing tools and resources to help our members and the community feel financially empowered. One way we do this is by collaborating with local organizations who can provide financial resources through unique channels. Recently, we teamed up with Denver 7 to provide communities across Colorado with helpful financial tips.
In a recent Denver 7 newscast, reporter Eric Lupher wanted to know how people planned on spending their tax returns this year, and offered some financially sound ways to turn those returns into savings for the future. You can view the segment below:
