ADVOCATING FOR OUR MEMBERS IN WASHINGTON DC

Bellco President and CEO, Doug Ferraro, was recently invited to the White House to discuss credit union regulatory issues with President Trump. As part of a small delegation of credit union representatives, Mr. Ferraro stressed the need for regulatory relief for credit unions.  “Restrictive regulations that were intended for large national banks are being applied to community financial institutions,” stated Ferraro.  “Relief from these regulations would make it easier for Bellco to deliver more efficient and more personal services to our members.”

Bellco Board Chairman, Walker Fleming (front, second from right) and Board Member, James Downs (second from left) and other credit union leaders recently met with Colorado Congressman, Mike Coffman (front center) as part of the Credit Union National Association Government Affairs Conference in Washington, D.C. Fleming and Downs, along with other Bellco leaders, attended the conference to gain support from legislators for regulatory relief so credit unions can serve our members better.
